This rare large piece of Manzanita Root Burl has a deep rich red color and a smooth polished finish. Root burl, by its nature, has deep voids as the roots grow and push through the soil. It this case, I filled the voids with a mixture of powdered copper and two-part epoxy. The contrasting colors highlight the beautiful wood grain. It is best used as a display piece.
