This Black Oak bowl is very rustic. It has cracks and knot voids that I left without trying to repair them. Black Oak takes a great finish, but the cracks and knots are still there. I would use it to hold miscellaneous items or dry food items such as break or crackers. The finish is food safe. WOOD: Black Oak; SIZE: 2" Tall by 9" in Diameter; WEIGHT: 13 Ounces.
