This solid Black Locust serving tray has some beautiful peacock feathers burned into the surface. It could be used as a serving tray; cheese board; or even a cutting board. Black Locust is a very hard wood. The finish is food safe and applied OVER the burned and painted designs protecting them from many washing and other wear. It is slightly warped as a result of the drying process. A small set of wedges will be applied to the bottom to stabilize the platter OR a lazy susan bottom can be applied - your choice!
