This large Spalted Maple bowl is quite unique because of the random spalting throughout the wood. It sat for almost three years drying before I decided to final turn it. The spalting pattern emerged making for an excellent serving bowl/conversation piece. It has a food safe finish and would work well as a large salad bowl or display bowl.
