This Live Oak bowl is truly one-of-a-kind. It was final turned from green wood and set aside to dry. As it dried the wood moved a bit. When I tried to turn the bottom I could not get it centered properly so I end up hand carving the bottom. Between the hand carving and the natural bark edge left on the bowl it makes for an interesting art object. The finish is food safe, but I would not place anything other than a dry serving item in it. WOOD: Live Oak; DIAMETER: 14 1/2"; HEIGHT: 5 1/2"; WEIGHT: 2 Pounds 9 Ounces.
