This Black Walnut Burl bowl is truly one-of-a-kind. It was turned from a piece of very wet burl (recently dug out of the ground) and set aside for two years to dry. Because it was so wet it warped quite a bit and looked almost unturnable. I gave it a try because the burl was so interesting and this rather odd shaped bowl emerged.
