OAK 54 - "Oak Leaf Bowl"
This funky natural edge Oak bowl took a great deal of time to complete. I thought about tossing it because of the numerous worm holes, but Julie encouraged me to finish it. I used copper colored epoxy to fill the largest holes while working hard to keep the bark intact. After sitting for a few months Julie decided to enhance it with some oak leaves. It really pops now! The first three photos are the "after" shots. The others are the "before" shots. I Hope you like it! WOOD: Black Oak; DIAMETER: 6"; HEIGHT: 5"; WEIGHT: 8 Ounces.
