The wood for this very large Black Walnut bowl came from the 2017 Tubbs Fire area. It has a rounded and flared rim adding a significant feel to relatively light bowl. The darker heart wood has some lovely figuring. The finish is food safe and suitable for a salad bowl or other utilitarian purpose.
