The wood for this large Black Walnut bowl was harvested from the area of the 2017 Tubbs fire. The tree did not burn down, but it was ready to be harvested. It has a flared rim and lovely figuring in the dark heart wood. The finish is food safe making the bowl suitable for serving salads and other food items.
