This rugged Manzanita bowl was made from a tree that was felled from the Glass Fire of 2020. The heat from the fire caused the wood to char a bit and crack as it dried rapidly. The cracks were not filled and go through the bowl. Manzanita takes a very smooth finish. It can hold dry items. The finish is food safe.
