This Chinese Elm is a new wood for me. It is very hard and durable. This bowl is fairly substantial. It has three rings burned into the wood near the top. It would make a great serving or salad bowl. The finish is food safe. WOOD: Chinese Elm; SIZE: 8 3/4" Diameter by 3" Tall; WEIGHT: 13 Ounces.
