This is the first Sycamore bowl that I have made. I love turning the wood and the color and grain are very interesting. It must have been a little wet still as after fully curing it has a slight warp that does not affect the quality of the bowl. I made the rim wide to provide Julie with a platform to burn her in-demand "grape leaf pattern". It turned out nicely. The bowl has a food safe finish. WOOD: Sycamore; SIZE: 11" Diameter by 5 3/8" Tall; WEIGHT: 1 Pound 3 Ounces.
