You can tell from the number of photos of this bowl that I find it special. I had a couple of Cork Oak logs that sat around too long. When I finally had an opportunity to turn them the wood was starting to get punky. I was concerned that the bowls would be junk and not worth turning. Boy was I surprised with the unique spalting in the wood! This one is reserved for a private collection. I have one more turned with two more pieces of wood to turn. NFS WOOD: Spalted Cork Oak SIZE: 8" Diameter by 5 1/2" Tall WEIGHT: 9 Ounces.
