ID: Oak 11 This large Valley Oak bowl is perfect for use as a salad bowl or a fresh fruit bowl or just to hold stuff. The rim groove was first cut into the bowl and then burned by holding a copper wire in the groove while spinning the bowl. It turned out nicely. This is one of my favorite "all purpose" bowls.
