This lovely Silver Maple hollow form bowl was made from the edge of a crotch piece and has an interesting birds eye and flame pattern along one side. It was final turned shorly after rough turning it, but it has not moved much as the wood continues to dry. Hollow forms have more structural rigidity than open bowls.
