OAK 65 "Half Stitched"
This Black Oak bowl has an interesting story. Before doing a demo to our wood turning club on "how to stitch a bowl" I needed some practice. I selected this medium-sized Black Oak bowl with a slight crack as my first attempt at "stitching". It worked fairly well, but I never finished the process. Over a year later I decided to fill the remaining gaps with copper colored epoxy and finish the bowl. It came out pretty good. Of course, I love anything made from Black Oak. WOOD: Black Oak; SIZE: 8" Diameter by 3 1/4" Tall; WEIGHT: 11 Ounces.
